How does local pickup work? +
Browse our catalog, click "+ Interested" on the gear you want, then submit the form with your name and email. We'll text you within a few hours — usually same day — to arrange a pickup time. Meet us off University Parkway near University Mall in Orem, grab your gear, and you're on the water.
Where exactly do we meet for pickup? +
We're located off University Parkway, near University Mall in Orem, Utah. Once your order is confirmed, we'll text you the exact meetup spot and time. Pickups are quick — usually under 5 minutes.
How fast can I get my gear? +
Same day in most cases. Submit your order before 4 PM and we can usually have it ready by evening. Later orders go out the next morning. We keep real inventory on hand — what you see is what we have.
Do you ship? +
No — and that's how we keep prices low. No shipping fees, no packaging waste, no waiting for a truck. Local pickup only in Orem, Utah. If you're driving through or live nearby, we've got you covered.
What payment methods do you accept? +
Cash or Venmo at pickup. No credit cards, no online payment forms, no data collection. You see the gear, you pay, you leave. Simple.
Can I see the gear before I pay? +
Absolutely. Every pickup is in-person — you can inspect anything before you hand over cash. If something doesn't look right, you're not obligated. We stand behind what we sell.
Can I reserve an item? +
When you submit an order form, those items are held for 24 hours while we coordinate pickup. If you need longer, just text us and we'll work it out. Inventory moves fast, so don't wait too long.
What if something is defective? +
Bring it back. If a rod tip snaps on the first cast or a reel binds up, we'll swap it out or refund you. We fish with this gear ourselves — we don't sell junk.
Where does the gear come from? +
We source directly from manufacturers in bulk — 50 to 200 units at a time. No distributors, no wholesalers, no retail lease baked into the price. Factory-adjacent pricing, local pickup convenience.
Why is it cheaper than big stores? +
Three reasons: (1) We buy in bulk direct from manufacturers, (2) No retail overhead — no lease, no employees, no displays, (3) No shipping infrastructure. The rod that's $89 at a big box store? We sell comparable quality for $38 because we've stripped out every cost that isn't the gear itself.
Do you sell name brands? +
We carry quality tackle comparable to what you'd find at big stores — but we don't sell the same name brands. Our gear comes from the same factories that produce for major labels. You get equivalent quality without the brand markup.
What works for Utah Lake? +
For catfish: egg sinkers, circle hooks, and braided line. For carp: hair rigs and method feeders. For white bass: small spinners and curly-tail grubs. For walleye: bottom bouncers with worm harnesses. Check our catalog — everything is tagged by what works locally.
What gear do I need for Provo River trout? +
A 5-6 weight fly rod or a light spinning setup. For flies: elk hair caddis, parachute adams, pheasant tails, and zebra midges cover 90% of days. For spin fishing: small spinners (Panther Martin style) and 2-4lb line. We stock all of this.
Do you buy or trade used gear? +
Not right now, but we're considering it. If you've got quality used tackle collecting dust, shoot us a text — if we start a trade-in program, you'll be first to know.
Is there a minimum order? +
Nope. Order one pack of hooks or a full combo setup — whatever you need. No minimum, no pressure.
